Spring Saengerfest | 2014Saengerfest 2014

Saengerfest Concert: Tues. May 20 (Rhinegeist Brewery)

Rehearsals Begin April 8 (Japp’s Swing Annex)

Additional Community Performance:  Sun. May 11 | Young at Heart Choral Festival (Below Zero Lounge)

In the true spirit of Cincinnati’s great German traditions, yp/CC will once again be sharing choral music throughout the city.  Most concerts will be paired with beer (choral pub crawl anyone?) and we look forward to building on the success of our 2013 Spring Saengerfest, featuring concerts in Washington Park, Music Hall, local churches and our Young at Heart Choral Festival, open to singers of all ages!  Raise a glass to yp/CC!

Creating connections through choral music

Cincinnati has one of the oldest and most respected choral traditions in the United States.  People here love to sing…and eat great food…and to drink in interesting places…so why not combine it all?  yp/CC brings young, energetic people together to create quality choral music and connect in a low-pressure, social environment.  yp/CC also supports local businesses through post-rehearsal (Tuesday nights) dinners & drinks, as well as scheduling rehearsals and concerts in unique downtown venues.  Most importantly, yp/CC strives to connect singers and audiences to great choral music through innovative performances and diverse repertoire.

If you are a local bar, restaurant or company – contact us!  We’d love to patronize you on a Tuesday night…or sing for your holiday event…or collaborate with you on innovative projects (like our wine tasting/choir concert with 1215 Wine Bar & Coffee Lab in May 2012).  We love our community and are always looking for interesting ways to work with local businesses.
